EAVISION Drones Shine at the World Digital Trade Expo

September 30, 2025

From September 25 to 29, the 3rd Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) was held at the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center under the theme "Digital Trade, Global Access." Co-hosted by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the Ministry of Commerce, the GDTE stands as China’s only national-level, international, professional exhibition dedicated exclusively to digital trade.

EAVISION Robotics ("EAVISION") was invited to exhibit as a representative enterprise of the "low-altitude economy" sector in Hangzhou, specifically showcasing its agricultural drones. The company maintained a strong presence with two booths: one in the Zhejiang Pavilion within the Comprehensive Exhibition Area, and another in the Smart Mobility Exhibition Area.

Marking its debut at the GDTE, EAVISION stood out as the sole agricultural plant protection drone exhibitor in the low-altitude economy sector. The displays attracted significant crowds, including numerous international delegations and business groups seeking potential partnerships.

A Media Spotlight:

Coverage by CCTV and Zhejiang Satellite TV

Beyond the flow of general attendees, EAVISION captured the attention of major media outlets, including CCTV, Zhejiang Satellite TV, and People's Daily Digital Communication.

On CCTV-2’s Global Business program, reports highlighted the significant role EAVISION drones play in agricultural crop protection and medical disinfection.

"During spraying operations, the drone adapts to different crops and pests. The mist droplet size is continuously adjustable between 10 and 300 microns. Experimental data shows we can achieve water savings of 90% and pesticide savings of 30%, significantly improving both efficiency and results," explained Zhuang Pei, EAVISION’s HR Director, in an interview with CCTV.

Meanwhile, on Zhejiang Satellite TV’s China Blue News, Zhang Hang, Head of EAVISION’s Project Department, discussed the company's international reach. "We have received visits from foreign government units and delegations seeking to introduce Chinese technology for local incubation in their own countries. Our strategic roadmap focuses on further opening up the global market," Zhang noted. EAVISION has been actively expanding its global footprint, recently signing an MOU in Kazakhstan and participating in the Agrishow in Brazil. Its drone products are now widely exported to Southeast Asia, the Americas, and Europe.

In the Central Hall of the Expo, EAVISION was featured on the People’s Daily electronic billboards. The segment, titled "EAVISION J100 Agricultural Drone: Making Agricultural Production More Efficient," detailed the product's core technologies, specifically the four rear ambient-temperature mist nozzles. These nozzles deliver superior uniformity and penetration compared to conventional drones, a feature that drew the attention of many passersby.

Award-Winning Performance: Silver at the DT Awards

On the morning of September 27, the 3rd GDTE Pioneer Awards (DT Awards) were held at the exhibition center. The competition was fierce, with over 200 entries from countries including China, the US, the UK, and Japan.

Evaluated by a committee of authoritative experts in digital trade across five dimensions—including innovation, market prospects, and social impact—54 projects were shortlisted. The EA-J100 All-Terrain Intelligent Perception Crop Protection Drone secured the Silver Award, recognized for its robust performance and product advantages.

Innovation Launch: The EAVISION-Cargill 360° Visual Disinfection Drone

During the expo’s "Low-Altitude Economy Emerging Technology and Industry Development Matchmaking Meeting," the organizers released a list of innovative application cases. A highlight of the event was the launch of the EAVISION-Cargill 360° Visual Disinfection Drone (JiJia), a collaborative innovation between EAVISION and Cargill.

Presented by Zhang Tao, Manager of EAVISION’s Disinfection Division, the drone utilizes CCMS bimodal mist nozzles and MCRFF counter-rotating flow field technology to effectively eliminate airborne viruses and bacteria. Tests conducted by a professor’s team at Nanjing Agricultural University confirmed that the drone could clear viruses and bacteria from a space within two hours.

Designed for public safety, the drone is suitable for vector control (mosquitoes) and African Swine Fever prevention. In 2023, this model was the designated vector control drone for the Chengdu Universiade. It has also been widely deployed in pig farms across China in cooperation with the US-based Cargill group, successfully achieving large-scale, effective disinfection.

To date, EAVISION has been recognized as a National "Little Giant" enterprise (Specialized and Sophisticated SME), a key unit in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s AI innovation tasks, and a winner of the 10th Wu Wenjun AI Science and Technology Award (Second Prize). With over 190 patents, the company’s technology for complex environments leads the international field.

As the low-altitude economy enters a golden window of rapid innovation and development, EAVISION remains committed to an open, bold approach to seizing future opportunities.
